You must check out their music- HERE is great place to start, a modern masterpiece if we don’t say ourselves.

Jep and Dep are masters of atmospheric music. With lights dimmed, a great sound mix and songs that possess an austere beauty and an arthouse intimacy, they quickly had an attentive audience – apart from a lone barking voice at the bar who Darren Cross acknowledged with a seething “hey, woman at the bar, stop fucking talking”. New tracks from their forthcoming album were aired, indicating it will be a strong set of songs and though the between-song banter was often thick with black humour, when it comes to performing their songs the duo are deadly serious.
Music Feeds has just premiered our our version of ‘Honeymoon’.
A haunting, stripped back, Jep and Dep style cover of Lana Del Rey’s “Honeymoon”.
Watch the video below! iTunes here. We are very excited to show you this, it’s a taste to what our second Album is sounding like!
Currently putting the finishing touches on their second album, Sydney’s own folk noir duo Jep And Dep have just released a stunning cover of Lana Del Rey‘s Honeymoon as a tease of things to come. Now the cover getting its own moody black and white video to boot
Having fallen instantly in love with the song when they first heard it, the duo wished they’d written it themselves. Deciding the next best thing would be to just make it their own via the time honoured tradition of the stripped back cover, the result speaks for itself.
“We loved the tragedy, the emotion, the drama and we just knew wanted to cover it”.
Heightening the melodrama and tragedy of the song by stripping it back to its bare bones, their approach is also in keeping with their sparse aesthetic and sound. Hinting at what to expect from their forthcoming follow up to 2014’s independently released Word Got Out, the cover has the band’s fans and followers eager in anticipation.
Thank you to Radio Eins Berlin, Double J who have already aired the track.
